Bios

Freddie Jo was born in Beardmore, ON on July 14, Adrian in New Westminster, BC on November 15th. Their dad, a local fisherman, and mom, a devoted house wife and mother, instilled in the boys a hard work ethic and the respect of life. Growing up on a small reservation near Rocky Bay, Ontario, their strong country roots were established while listening with their Dad to such artists as Merle Haggard, George Jones, Ronnie Milsap and the Bellamy Brothers. During their teens, when the family moved out west to BC, they started listing to rock artists such as Elvis, the Eagles, and CCR.

Pro Wrestlers

Freddie Jo and Adrian worked side by side as fishermen and at other odd jobs that paid the bills; building houses, high rises, and yachts. They experienced a unique career as pro wrestlers, Freddie Jo under the name "Texas Outlaw" and Adrian under "Thunder Warrior" while they traveled across Canada, the United States, and Germany.

One of the strongest connections between Freddie Jo and Adrian is the desire and ability to sing and perform. Country or rock, regardless of what it is they are singing, you can hear the smooth, soulful, harmony between the brothers.

As young boys, they were encouraged by their Nana to sing in front of people at every opportunity. When Freddie Jo and Adrian met a local writer, Pam Royal, she liked their sound and introduced them to BC Hall of Famer Ed Molisky. Ed provided an opportunity for the boys to record some of his songs for demos and booked them into local legions. They spent 5 years playing for our veterans and numerous festivals such as Ladner May Days, aboriginal functions, and the smaller stages at Cloverdale Rodeo. Agent Don Buchannan recognized the potential of the young up-and-coming artists and organized a showcase for them.

The buzz had started! They were soon nominated for the BC Country Club Act of the Year; Rising Star of the Year; and Group or Duo of the Year. Five more years establishing themselves and they were on the main stage at the Cloverdale Rodeo, opening for Terri Clark, and on the same card as Aaron Lines at Gabby's Country Club. The boys delighted thousands of new fans during their 6 month contract on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

Lester

For over 10 years, the boys performed and grew as "Diezel". In preparation of their debut album "Day One", they insisted upon a name that truly portrayed them and how better to do that than by using their surname? Lester! Two big guys with a big sound. It has truly been an exciting journey for them, with many ups and downs along the way. However Freddie Jo and Adrian have never given up. They believe in their music and, more importantly, each other.

Lester is expanding eastward by storm! They are favorites at the Boomtown Casino in Fort McMurray; are becoming regulars at the Ranchman's in Calgary, Wild Bill's in Banff and Ralph's Texas Steakhouse in Medicine Hat; and are forecasted to be blowing into Regina soon.

Day One

During the 2007 CCMAs, Lester showcased their debut CD at Canada's #1 country club of the year in Regina. Lester blew the ceiling off the Pump! Award winning producer Tom McKillip, produced "Day One" and Lester is extremely proud of it!

Lester has started a new journey in this business called music and wish to thank everyone who has supported them along the way and to acknowledge their fans. They know they owe it all to you! "We love you (the fans) and thank you for your support!"
