OUCH!!!
Oh What a Weekend! We are wishing Marty, our Lead Guitar Player, a speedy recovery after the freak accident he suffered this weekend in Medicine Hat. Thanks to Ralph of Ralph's Texas Bar and Grill for his compassion during this time.
Friday Night during our last break of the evening we stepped outside for some fresh air, within seconds of doing so Marty was on the receiving end of an accident that left his humourous bone not so humerous but rather badly broken.
We would like to thank Ralph for his understanding of the situation and are looking forward to heading back to Medicine Hat soon to play one of our favorite rooms, Ralph's Texas Bar and Grill.

CD Review By Larry Delany

We are pround to be releasing our new single "Let Me Love You" to radio January 7th. If you would like to hear it or want to help us out please call your local radio station and request it.
We wish you a very happy new year and look forward to playing at a venue near you in 2008!
We wish you a very happy new year and look forward to playing at a venue near you soon!"
We had a great time playing at BC's #1 Country Club of the Year, Gabby's; it was packed as always. We received a fantastic response from the crowd to our new CD, "Day One", which made performing it live on stage so much fun. Thank-you to the staff for your hospitality, see you again soon.
We would also like to mention that we have had a meeting with Curtis Pope, the music director from Country107 out of Abbotsford, B.C., which went very well. Interestingly enough we have more than just music in common with Curtis. As we spoke of our careers as professional wrestlers, he shared that he was a huge fan of wrestling; Curtis had done some work in the ring as a radio personality up in Prince George. We enjoyed reminiscing and sharing our experiences. We would like to thank Curtis for taking the time out of his busy schedule to meet with us.
Alright folks we will chat with you soon. It is time to start Christmas shopping!
Each week CJKC, Country 103, out of Kamloops, BC pits two bands up against each other on a segment they call the CanAm challenge. One of the bands is from Canada and the other from the United States; the songs used are brand new songs on the music scene. The public is not told which is the Canadian song or the American song; both songs are played back to back; then the public is asked to vote for which ever song they liked the best. Last week the radio station received more calls than ever before during the 33 week history of the challenge. It was a landslide! 88% of the votes were for US!!! TRUER THAN TRUE by Lester!!!
We would like to thank everyone who voted and hope you will request our song as often as you can.
Hello everybody, my brother and I would like to Thank the BCCMA commitee for providing us the oppertunity to perform at the directors award show. We had a lot of fun performing our new single Truer Than True. A big thanks goes out to Brain Zalo who did a great job as music director.
Congratulations to all of the winners!
Alright folks up in the Merrit area, we are headed your way this week Nov 1-3 at Cactus Annie's, we look forward to seeing you there!
Lester attended our first CCMA week and what a week it was! We took in many of the seminar's and found them to be both enlightening and entertaining. Hopefully we picked up on new ideas to bring you an even better show next time you come out to see us.
We were thrilled to do a showcase at the Pump and would like to send our thanks out to Mark Smith for the opportunity. We would also like to thank all of the fantastic musicians that backed us; they are the same fellows that played on the recording of "Day One".
The Canadian Country Music Awards showcased some of Canada's hottest country stars at the Brandt Centre in Regina on Monday night. Hosted by Paul Brandt, the show opened with Emerson Drive performing with their number one hit "Moments". Highlights included Saskatchewan's hometown boy Brad Johner receiving the covenanted Male Artist of the Year, congratulations Brad! Carolyn Dawn Johnson picked up the Female Artist of the Year, Emerson Drive pulled off a hat trick with Single of the Year, CMT Video of the Year and Group or Duo of the Year. Doc Walker was honoured with Album of the Year. B.C.'s own Aaron Pritchett took home SOCAN Songwriter of the Year for "Hold My Beer." Chevy Rising Star of the Year winner Shane Yellowbird per-formed his number one hit "Pickup Truck". Lester sends out huge kudos to all of the winners!
Hi Everyone, We are very excited to let you know that we will be changing the name of the Band. We have been using the name Diezel for the past 10 years and think it is time for a New Beginning!! We like to thank you for all of your support over the years and hope for your continued support in the years to come. We plan on changing the name to "Lester". This is our surname and we agree that this is the best way to show the public what and who we are. We are a brother act, with total professionalism and great harmonies.
Last weekend Diezel performed at the Number Country Club in Canada “The Ranchman’s” in Calgary, Alberta! What history and character this venue holds. Diezel had a great time and would like to thank everyone for coming out. See you next time were in town.
Hi everyone, Diezel had a "Warm Welcome" to Ralph's Texas Bar & Steakhouse last week in Medicine Hat, AB. We were blasting down the Trans-Canada Hwy in a vehicle with no air conditioning in blistering heats of 46° and hotter! No fear folks due to Mr. Johnny Durr's driving skills and uncanny sense of humor to text message everyone in the vehicle as he drives we arrived in one piece.
We would like to thank Ralph and Peggy for bringing us in and to acknowledge Ralph's marvelous bass skills.
Thanks also to Darrell for the fabulous food, Tyler for the sound, to the staff for their hospitality, and to the people of Medicine Hat thank you very much for your support!
